Thessaloniki is a vibrant city, with an atmosphere totally different than the capital. When it comes to choosing one of the hotels in Thessaloniki, it is all about location and budget. With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of the best hotels in Thessaloniki for under €100 per night …and also an exception to the rule.
Hotel Orestias Kastorias
This small 2-star family run hotel is located close to all the important sites in Thessaloniki. There are 37 rooms available, all offering incredible views. All rooms have AC, TV, phone, private shower and bath. There’s internet available on request.
All rooms have free WiFi, AC and TV.
During the 2017 high season (July), the prices range from €42 per night for a single room, €55 per night for a double room and €65 per night for a triple room. During the 2017 low season (starting in November, excluding Christmas), the are no available prices yet.

Nea Metropolis
The beautiful hotel offers only 35 rooms. There’s central heating, phone, TV and private bath in each room. There’s a restaurant-bar on site and guests can eat the continental breakfast each morning. Internet services are available on request.
2017 high season rates start at €35 per night for a single room, €42 per night for a double room (deal) and €60 per night for a triple room. Off-season rates start are exactly the same

Hotel Tourist
Located in a historical building and renovated in 2003, the 2-star hotel offers 37 rooms, all equipped with AC, TV, fridge and phone.
During the 2017 high season the prices range between €47 per night for a single room, €70 per night for a superior double or twin room (deal), €60 per night for standard double or twin room and €84 per night for a triple room.
During the 2017 low season the prices range between €45 per night for a single room, €70 per night for a superior double or twin room (deal), €58 per night for a standard double or twin room (deal) and €75 per night for a triple room.

Rotonda Hotel
The 3-star hotel is located right in the city center, close to the Central Railway Station. There are 80 rooms available, all with AC, TV, phone, fridge and balcony. The buffet breakfast is included in the room price.
During the 2017 high season, the prices range between €50.14 per night for a single room , €60.90 per night for a double room (deal), €69.18 per night for a triple room and €108.93 per night for a family room (sleeps 4).
During the 2017 low season, the prices are exactly the same.

Hotel Astoria
Astoria is quite expensive but we couldn’t resist listing it here. The 3-star hotel is located right in the center of the city and is ideal for the business traveler. Credit cards are accepted, which is a nice facility since the majority of budget hotels do not allow the use of credit cards. The rooms have private bath, hairdryer, AC, mini bar, TV, balcony and safe. The hotel offers conference rooms, restaurant and bar.
During the 2017 high season the prices range between €67.50 per night for a budget single room, €78.75 per night for a single room, €78.75 per night for a budget double room (deal), €90 per night for a double room (city view), €214.22 for a junior suit (sleeps 2) and €191.25 per night for a family room (sleeps 4).
During the 2017 low season the prices range between €108 per night for a budget single room, €126 per night for a single room, €126 per night for a budget double room (deal), €144 per night for a double room , €245.70 for a junior suit (sleeps 2) and €306 per night for a family room (sleeps 4).
